When two people from opposite sides of the country come together, there’s something pretty special about bringing their two worlds together. For Evan and Anna, that idea became the inspiration behind their wedding weekend theme: “When Worlds Collide.”
Anna traveled from the West Coast, while Evan called the East Coast home. Their rehearsal and welcome dinner was the perfect opportunity to begin bringing their families and friends together, and from the moment guests arrived, every detail was designed to make them feel welcomed, celebrated, and part of the experience.
Held at The Revery, a stunning rooftop venue overlooking downtown Columbus, the evening combined thoughtful hospitality, personalized details, beautiful design, and plenty of moments for guests to enjoy together.

For our clients the guest experience was a top priority.
The experience began before guests even stepped into the venue. Luxury transportation brought everyone to The Revery, where helpful staff greeted them outside guiding guests toward the elevator and escorting them to the rooftop. Beautiful signage directed guests as well, so there was never a question of "where do I go?".
A beautiful custom welcome sign accented with florals immediately set the tone for the evening.
Guests were offered a chilled glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic if they chose) as they entered, while Evan’s parents, the hosts for the evening were there personally greeting their guests. It was warm, personal, and intentional. Rather than simply arriving at a rehearsal dinner, guests immediately felt like they had arrived at an event created specifically for them.
Music, Flowers & a View of Columbus
The rooftop setting at The Revery provided an incredible backdrop for the evening, with sweeping views of downtown Columbus.
The floral design was lush and romantic, with abundant arrangements and organic floral moments woven throughout the space. Soft blue, peach, ivory, and pink created a beautiful color palette that complemented the modern rooftop setting while adding warmth and romance.
As evening settled in, beautiful candlelight added another layer to the atmosphere. The soft glow of candles paired with the lush florals and city skyline created an intimate, welcoming feeling as guests gathered together. A live musician performed acoustic guitar and vocals while surrounded by a beautiful flower meadow. The combination of live music, lush florals, warm candlelight, and the Columbus skyline created an atmosphere that felt elevated yet inviting.
Cocktail Hour With a Personal Touch
Guests were invited to enjoy cocktail hour, where the food and details continued the elevated guest experience.
A selection of delicious hot and cold passed appetizers circulated throughout the space, alongside a beautiful grazing display where guests could mingle and enjoy a variety of offerings.
But one of the most memorable details of cocktail hour wasn't something guests ate, it was something they could take with them.
Each guest received a custom passport cover and luggage tag, a thoughtful nod to the couple’s “When Worlds Collide” theme and the journey that brought everyone together.
Even more special, guests could watch their luggage tags being custom foiled on-site. It transformed a beautiful favor into an experience, allowing guests to watch as their personalized keepsake was created right in front of them.
A Little Help From Lance
Of course, no personalized wedding weekend would be complete without a nod to a beloved family member.
In this case, that family member happened to have four paws.
A custom cocktail sign featuring Lance, Evan and Anna’s cat, added a playful and personal touch to the bar.
It was a small detail, but exactly the kind of detail that made the evening feel personal to Evan and Anna, and gave their guests another little piece of their story to discover.
Dinner & a Warm Welcome
When it was time for dinner, guests were invited to take their seats and continue the evening together. Each place setting began with a beautiful stacked burrata Caprese salad, followed by a thoughtfully curated dinner featuring rosemary-crusted chicken breast, Steak Oscar, and shrimp scampi, accompanied by Asiago potato gratin and sautéed green beans with red peppers. The menu offered something for everyone while maintaining the elevated feel of the evening.
Before dinner began, Evan’s father welcomed everyone with a warm and heartfelt toast. As the evening was designed to bring two families and two worlds together, his words were a fitting moment to pause and recognize what everyone had gathered to celebrate.
This wasn’t simply a rehearsal dinner. It was the beginning of an entire wedding weekend, a chance to bring loved ones together, welcome them to Columbus, and officially begin celebrating Evan and Anna.
Sweet Endings & Rooftop Relaxation
After dinner, the celebration continued with an assortment of desserts and a roaming cannoli station, giving guests the chance to indulge while continuing to mingle.
Guests were also invited out onto the rooftop patio, creating an inviting space for guests to relax, enjoy the Columbus skyline, have another conversation, and simply take in the evening. The atmosphere was celebratory without feeling rushed, a chance for everyone to settle in and enjoy being together before the excitement of the wedding day arrived.
A Perfect Goodbye
As the evening came to a close, the guest experience didn't stop.
Guests were escorted back to their provided transportation, where the helpful staff thanked them and guided them out for the evening.
And waiting at the exit was one final message:
“Tomorrow will be the best day ever.”
It was the perfect final touch.
After an evening spent welcoming guests to Columbus, bringing two families together, and celebrating Evan and Anna, the message served as both a goodbye and a promise of what was still to come.
